I have spoken to most of you, but am making it official . . . the Christmas gift exchange will go like this:
- Steve and Em give to Catherine and Jason
- Catherine and Jason give to Rebecca
- Becca gives to Carolyn and Mike
- Carolyn and Mike give to Mel
- Mel gives to Steve and Em
We had considered doing a service project and dispensing with the gift exchange but have decided to do a better job on our service project(s) on Rachel's birthday and continue with the family gift exchange. (There is great merit in giving and receiving gifts from each other.) Of course, we encourage each family member to look for and respond to service opportunities during the Christmas season and always.
